April 24, 1997 Born in Seoul, South Korea (New Zealand nationality).
She has been active since her amateur days, and has been ranked number one in the world rankings for 130 consecutive weeks.
Since turning pro in 2013, she has won 17 LPGA Tour titles (as of August 2022).

2002		2002 Started playing golf at the age of 5.
2003		Moved to New Zealand.
2012		The youngest winner in history to win ALPG, Bing Lee Samsung Women's NSW Open at the age of 14 years and 10 months.
2012		The youngest winner in history to win CN Canadian Women's Open at the age of 15 years and 4 months.
2013		She won the LPGA Tour, Canadian Women's Open consecutively and turned professional.
2014		Youngest player in LPGA Tour history to earn more than $1 million.
2015		The youngest to reach number one in the Women's World Golf Rankings at the age of 17 years and 9 months. The youngest female player to win her first major at the age of 18 years and 4 months, at the Evian Championship.
2016		Won a silver medal at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
2021		Won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, her second consecutive medal win.
